We found 4" of low density snow sitting on a robust crust on southerly aspects. On sheltered slopes the new snow has no slab character. We saw effective loading all day on North and East facing terrain. The wind slabs we did come across were very stiff 1 F and stubborn, we could not get them to crack at all
