Quick report
Mostly hard pack crusts on all aspects. Occasionally found some breakable crust in the trees. Skinning on steep slopes even with ski crampons was hard to impossible in places. We wound up boot packing in spots. The south facing slopes were better, but had thin coverage and short run outs due to lack of snow. Not the best touring, but at least we got out. Thanks to Chris the Park Ranger for trying to steer us to better slopes. If there were any hidden staches of good snow, we didn't find them.
