TC Backcountry conditions 10-15cm new snow/wind blown snow on top of crust, impenetrable to skis, from around 1850-1700m. Down to 2-3cm on top of same crust down around the 1650m mark. Surface snow remained cold and some surface hoar seen. Roller balling observed on the solar aspect of the Gotleibs.
