Avalanche Information
Na sz 2 avalanche observed on SE aspect of Mica Mt. possibly triggered by WL coming off rocks in steep terrain. Fresh snow and big solar inputs are waking up the steep S faces.
Snowpack
Observed widespread evidence of previous Avy cycle on PWL(Feb 7). Mod gusting ridge top wind and snow transport(HN 15 cm) is developing new WS in Alp and upper TL. Sled cuts and test slopes had no results. Targeted Feb 7th MFcr, found down 110 with laminated crust complex below. Mod test results on this crust complex.
