Our party went up to the bottom of the Illecillewaet drainage area intent on trying to tour perly rock. Conditions did not permit, so we decided to head up to lookout col as there was less overhead exposure. We made it up to 2000m where we had caught up to another group digging a quick pit on the final steep pitch. Their results were ctm11 down 75 cm, combined with whumphing and other avalanches we witnessed off the north facing slope of glacier crest and old avalanches on the moraines below glacier crest, we decided to turn around. All in all, the day was full of green lights with a big red light right next the objective. Great ski out!
