Mount Hoy Snowshoe trip

A sunny snowshoe up Mount Hoy. We followed the logging road up for about 4.5km before cutting into the trees and onto the open plateau. We stayed on mellow slopes at tree line and only saw signs of warming and instability on steep slopes below the summit. Conditions became slushy in the afternoon with 20°+ heat.
