Emerald slide path

Ventured up Emerald slide path, the air was warm and humid all day with dense cloud layers rolling through. Stepping off the lake trail into the alder maze at the bottom of the path with 30cm will have you question what life decisions have brought you to this moment. But somewhere around 1600-1700m the HS increases to 1m. Snow was supportive to skier traffic and there was no evident signs of instability. By end of day the temp down low was above 0, and snow was moist from 1500m down.
