Avalanche crest

Ascended avalanche crest from the west face. Noticed great ski quality with light snow, no more than 10cm on open slopes and wind load areas up to 15cm. We went to check out the col past the crest trail. Noticed the east facing slopes were getting slabby with the morning sun. Unfortunately we took a little long on the ridge walk and that sun tracked around and faced our west descent slope. That same slabby feeling was confirmed at the first ski cut we did sending a wet loose to run about 150m. The decent was all about sluff control and being extra cautious of terrain traps. During the day many steep solar aspects were releasing, stay cautious of overheard hazard.
