Paget Paths

Parking lot is not plowed….. Cloudy blustery day up at Sherbrooke, high level winds out of the West, surface winds out of the South, high, gusting to extreme cross loading the paths. Med-density powder to 2000m, then it gets sketchy, hard 10cm crust sitting on 15-20cm faceted snow, sitting on another hard crust, steeper terrain breaks and slides easily. Went up 1&3 both had this at 2000m. Bailed at 2100 both times as any higher and it’ll gain a lot of mass. Ogden looked very loaded with only one 24hr oldish avy out of the extreme gully before the bench.
