SE Little Galatea

With a plan to ski Hero Knob loop today, we changed that based on the high SW winds observed along the Smith Dorrien in the morning. Lots of snow transport up high, especially on the W side of the road. Ended up at Chester Lake area instead and skied the SE aspect of "Little Galatea". Good ski quality, minimal wind affect on this slope. A cornice chunk broke off recently from the ridge top and did not step down. Temps were better today with a high of -11c. Avoided most of the wind thankfully. A good day out.
