Quick Observation

Hiked up Weyco Rd off of Keefer FSR. Dug a pit at the bottom of an old cut block on a shoulder. Due to our results we turned around and skied lower angle cut blocks closer to the main road. The storm slab was 35cm thick in this area, and we had a resistant planer result on the small surface hoar layer.

Weather

We didn't observe the higher elevation wind because we turned around after we dug our pit at the bottom.

Snowpack

Column 1 failed at ground on saw cut. Column 2 resistant planer CTE5 down 23cm. Resistant planer CTM2 down 28cm and 35cm. Failed at ground CTH5. Rutschblock test resistant planer 35cm on rutschblock test 4
