No rain crust!

Day trip up to London ridge area to escape the rain further south. Recent storm slab activity on NE slopes (likely slid during last storm cycle). Dug a pit at 1737m, SE Asp on convex, open slope. CTM16 down 39 on SH (likely 20201226 SH 3 - 10) with suddan planar reaults. Another pit in the same area but on S asp yeilded no results. We had been feeling quite confident with the snowpack until the pit, so we decided to stick to the trees and off of convex slopes. Sun crust was devoping on on solar aspects by the end of the day.
