Quick Observation
Headed into Sherbrooke. On the east side of the lake, the Paget side, there is an unexpected crust down 15-30 cm that felt like a temperature or sun crust. It was less evident in shadowed areas. The snow on top of that crust felt like it wanted to move. There was debris in several areas underneath the small cliffs rock features about mid height on that side. At the road, it was a strong wind from the east and up at the lake into treeline there was not a lot of wind. We expected it to be more deep powder skiing than it was. Was more like boot top on a crust. Across the way on the Ogden side there were a lot of what looked to be large, deep crowns at the base of the steep faces in that side. (Maybe glide cracks but I think crowns) There is a big tree down on the ski in/out. Parking is not plowed.
