Great afternoon out at Round Mountain.
~150cm snow depth on probe penetration.
~10cm or so of fresh unconsolidated snow on top of a ~5cm thicker layer (~15ish cm down), and more unconslidated snow beneath. Punched in easily with skis in some areas when skinning up, felt a few minor, isolated collapses off small convex features on the runs down. Was still dumping wet flakes at 4:30 when we left. Can skin from parking lot, bottom quarter of trail to parking is icy / a few rocks showing through more snow Need depth in meadows around Red Heather.
Road is in pretty good condition, few icy patches before the hairpin turn.
