Quick Observation
Took a trip up to Commonwealth Traverse. Approx 15cm fresh snow. A couple of small slabs had released on the E face of Pig's Back in the storm, as well as a larger slide from the north face on Commonwealth Peak. There was substantial wind transport at ridge top, with moderate wind to strong gusts. A ski cut entering the col released a size 1 wind slab, but wind effect greatly reduced below the first 50m. Some dry loose sloughs also released in steeper features down the gully. Flurries of varying intensity throughout the day. Beautiful snow conditions throughout!
