As stability increased for treeline and below, we ventured into Paget glades. We made it up to 1950 m, refrozen rain crust everywhere we went. Up to 3-4 cm of new snow on the crust in some places. The crust was supportive and fast to ski. No signs of instability today underfoot. Short glimpses of sun but not enough to affect the snow. No recent avalanches on the low-angle Paget glades runs we did, mostly on southern aspects, but across Sherbrooke lake, lots of very large recent avalanches on the Ogden runs.
