Noticed plenty of recently, wind-drifted snow from the past few days that created a thin cohesive slab below ridgelines, making it easy to trigger small avalanches. There were many shooting cracks on this wind-drifted snow, shooting dozens to maybe even a hundred feet. Higher up on the slope closer to the ridge they triggered one small avalanche, then got caught in an avalanche in a gully-like feature when the avalanche broke above them.
