Recent avalanches likely from 4 or 5 days ago

Sunny with not much wind. There was about 2 inches of recent snow.

The snowpack depth is about 60 to 80 cm below and near treeline on shady slopes. Most crusts have faceted away, leaving a mostly faceted snowpack. The top 20 cm is recent snow from last week. Both the new snow and the rest of the faceted snowpack is fist hard. It's hard to find any cohesive layers besides the recently drifted snow near the ridgetop.
