Quick Observation
Today we went up to Look out Col not knowing what to expect. We saw some larger size 2 avalanches in the Practice Slopes shoots starting in steep terrain TL. As we climbed we were surrounded by small size 1-1.5 on every unsupported convexity. This was the case till 1800m then the crust disappeared and that SH layer seemed to be less reactive. Once at the col ski quality was better then expected and the snowpack was more promising. Very warm and this created even more reactivity increasing below 1800m. Remote triggers were very present.
