Chickadee Valley

Rode one of the slide paths in Chickadee Valley. Most of them are pretty chewed up. Snow quality was best below tree line and deteriorated above. Did a compression test at tree line (2063 m), 26 degree slope, SW aspect- CT8, sudden collapse 40 cm below surface. Snowpack is comprised of ~40 cm of facets sitting on crust with weak bonding below.
