Quick Observation

We managed to sneak a quick trip up to Morphy ridge today, despite some driving and office tasks. We were in and out of a layer of ridge top cloud during the ride, but we could see from town that it had dissipated by the afternoon. Morphy had wind damaged snow at all elevations, even open areas below treeline seemed ravaged. Today at the ridge winds were just light out of the south west and not building new slabs or cornices because there isn't really any fresh snow available for transport.
