Pow in the lizard range

No pit was dug. Found 20cm of very light fresh snow on top of the previous week's snow accumulation. In open slopes below 1800m the recent snow is all well consolidated, only in micro terrain features could we feel evidence of stiffer slibs under the light powder. Those areas with underlying stiffer snow showed no signs of instability even in some small but steeper/unsupported features. Excellent skiing.
