Jimmy Jr Bowl

Good skiing on the mellower portions of Jimmy Jr. bowl. But clearly very touchy on anything over 30degrees

Observed a second party skier remote (or natural?) happened during transition (second lap) with both skiers 10m from start point. Storm snow influenced by strong solar input and rapid temperature rise. At base of bowl top 30cm of snow was -12C and air temp was -8C. At elevation of avalanche air temp was -4C with strong solar input. Minor pin-wheeling and cracking noticed shortly before avalanche. Lots of other avalanche activity noted included a recent size 2 on an east facing fan at the base of Crowfoot Couloir just south of Bow Lake that happened this morning.
