A great day with low winds and low vis. We skinned up to prospector summit and then down through some quite dense trees to the south. Headed back up towards hummingbird and a second lap through some better spaced trees and then out via blasters ridge/catch.
Snow was feeling excellent in the top 50-70cm but didn’t dig a pit so no observations below that. No sign of wind slab anywhere below the ridge line and no crusts in the snow we could feel. No observed avalanches.
Great skiing and we saw two flying squirrels!
