Trident & surrounding area

Still pretty thin out there! Overall conditions are decent, albeit a little sharky, especially on the approach track. Tried to ride trident, but hit an approx 5cm wind slab sitting on a layer of facets on the bottom 1/3 which caused us to turn around. Went up a different col nearby, it’s mostly skied out now, but found very consistent supportive snow throughout a majority of the line. Very calm weather day, with minimal wind, and fresh snow falling. A few small spindrifts were observed throughout the day.
