We were just finishing our AT tour at West Nile, behind the mosquito creek hostel. The temp had risen to 1 degree and the sun had been out for an hour. From the viewpoint of the road we saw a cornice drop from the ridge , trigger a release which slid to the slopes below , stopping above tree line.
