Loop Brook to the elephant trunk

Travel still sucks in loop Brook, either have 4 pairs of socks or bring waders for the creek. Lots of fighting with alder. The elephant trunk had no obvious crossings to get towards bonney moraines, and that's where we quit. Up to there, snow is good for travel, but thin in spots that don't lend itself to efficiency. There is good skiing to be had, if you can find a path without deadfall and rocks
