Burstall Pass

Went on a bit of an adventure with not much of a plan other then check out the area. Turned out to be better then expected. If your carful and plan your route well you can avoid exposure and never ski avalanche slopes. I included a picture of cover on snow peak and on the Roberson Glacier.

Total depth of snowpack was around 3.2m Snow depth had a fairly consistent temperature throughout the top 1m. 5cm down, -5. 50cm down, -6.4. 100cm down, -7.3. Foot penetration, full boot. 50cm down-pencil hard, 60cm down-1 finger CTE 10, SC, 30cm ECT NP.
