Approx 20m new snow sitting ontop of consolidated layer from last weekend. Last freeze crust is now about 30-40cm down from top of snow pqck. Temps rose during morning and then as it cooled at 2pm a 1cm crust formed on top of the 20cm of new snowfall in the open areas near and above treeline. Typical coastal snow fall at near zero degrees was like balls of styrofoam. This snow was accumulating quickly on the newly formed crust. Crust was not evident in the trees as the temp had not cooled yet. Decent turns BTL.
