Crowfoot Glades

Awesome day out at Crowfoot, lots of breaking trail in deep powder and fantastic skiing. We saw no signs of instability where we skied. However, there was lots of soft cornice failures and dry loose coming off of steep rocky aspects in the alpine. Probed 270cm at 2135m, 15-20cm of light fresh snow on top of recent storm snow. Foot pen over 45cm

Lots of avalanches, soft cornice failures (up to sz 2, hard to tell) and lots of loose dry releasing off steep rocky features (up to sz 1.5) No releases were seen from these hitting slopes below.

Overcast day with lots of snow moving above at ridge line, almost no wind at 2135m
