Healy Area

Good skiing up Healy but anything even slightly south facing has a bit of a sun crust under 5 to 10 cm of new storm snow. It's easy to break through and wasn't as bad as we were expecting but worth considering on steep terrain where the new snow has bonded poorly and is easy to get moving in a sluff. Did a hand sheer and found a moderate resistant planar layer down 40 cm. No action on this layer today but something to keep in mind especially if we get more sun or heating. HS was well over 2m with great coverage in creek lines.
