Quick report

Raining hard before we began riding at 1:00pm, at which point the rain had stopped but there was a dense, low-lying fog that blew in and out. We noted wet surface snow, but found it generally firmer than yesterday. Boot and ski/track penetration was lower. We rode West, South, and East facing slopes below 30 degrees and did not see any signs of avalanches. Visibility was very limited, which may have been a factor. There were many open creeks, and places with exposed dirt, rocks, and bushes, especially in tree wells. We experienced 30-45 minutes of wet graupel before the rain returned around 2:45pm.
