Quick report

Strong, well consolidated snowpack that will become reactive with new snow. Performed quick compression test. Sudden collapse 10cm down on large buried surface hoar. I don't think snow above it is capable of propagating, but will be with more snow and wind. Could not get failure on rest of column.

Snowpack

Collected full stratigraphy, hand hardness, and density profiles. HS was 120cm. Observed two MFcr's, one roughly mid-pack and the other near the ground. Buried surface hoar as large as 6mm below 10cm of new snow.
