Quick report

We skied from the top of bluebird out to Sergeants peak and dug a pit on the SE-facing, 30 degree slope. Results from the pit: CTM - SP @ 15 cm CTM - RP @ 35 cm. PST on 35 cm layer went full meter before collapse. The very hard crust complex at 60 cm is still there but reasonably well bonded to the layer above. We were planning to ski some 37ish degree chutes and instead chose to ski some ~30 degree terrain, based on the results of the pit. We noticed considerable amounts of sun-affected snow (pinwheels, etc) on the south facing aspects above ~40 degrees (steepness).
