Quick report
The snow was a little crusty late morning but quickly got softer and slower on top, with a well-consolidated layer an inch or two beneath it. We saw a lot of rollerballs, some recent and some at least a day old, on the steeper slopes. We mostly stuck to lower angles but did opt to boot up a 35 degree slope with no cornices or rocks above us to trigger instability.
