Quick report
We dubbed travel for the day PFF or "Pretty F*'ing Firm". Went up to Bullion basin, into Cement, up to the saddle toward lake basin skied down from higher up the ridge across the upper plateau and then skinned up the East side of Norse. Coverage on the way out was fine. Travel was just difficult to say the least, even with ski crampons. It was lightly snowing throughout the day and the afternoon brought some graupel. It accumulated maybe half an inch to an inch through the course of the afternoon. The best skiing was found on low angle slopes that were protected by trees. Anything out in the open was pretty chattery. We exited between solar slab and BBQ trees and coverage became sparse at the bottom. We were able to keep our skis on the whole time but it required traversing some dirt and jumping some grass patches. Ended up being a PFD (pretty fun day!)
