Quick report

Went poking around Blewett Pass today. Snow depth was around 37cm (yikes), and travel was tricky/impossible in most areas off the road. Definitely still needs more time before it becomes truly skiable. Dug a pit and recorded the results, found two melt freeze crusts in the middle of a very shallow snowpack. Large and widespread surface hoar formation in all clearings. Most of it was staying put throughout the day, largest grains were in wind-sheltered areas.
