Toured up Relay peak today (8:45-2:45 pm) with the intention of riding lines on the E face with clean runouts. Aside from an intentionally triggered slide on a N-facing test slope, we observed no signs of lingering storm slab instability throughout our tour. Some wind transport of the new snow was observed. We rode out on SE and S-facing slopes, which were starting to become moist at elevations below 9000 feet. Upon returning to Mount Rose Highway we observed what appeared to be a snowboarder-triggered dry sluff (or loose wet?) avalanche on east facing slopes in Yin Yang Bowl. My overall impression of stability aligned with today's SAC forecast.
