Quick report
Our group skied of the East and North East Face of Rocky Point. It was twenty two degrees with strong ridge top winds out of the west. No recent signs of instability. We performed an ECT at 7700 Feet on the North East Aspect of Rock Point on a 25 degree slope in 140 cm of snow, but I do not think it was completely representative of the snow depth in the area as we were on a windward aspect of slight ridge. We got an ECT 24, 55cm below the snow surface on buried surface hoar. There was propagation through the whole column, but it did not release with much energy.
