Quick report
We dug our pit on a NNE slope at 7400' about 250' below ridgeline. Total snow 200 cm. We found the suspect crust at 53 cm below the surface. The facets below this were about 2 cm thick. Our ECT test was ECTN26 on this layer. We didn't have any surprises while skiing several steeper slopes and saw no cracking. Everything due east or more southerly was highly sun affected.
