Quick report
Just a quick baseline observation from 10/13/24. Up Trapper Creek to N Trapper, across to main Trapper, down to Baker. I looked for but did not encounter any signs of early-season snow or ice, even on steep, shady north facing terrain at the upper extent of the range. Based on observations from this day I'd expect that any snow in the Bitterroot from 10/16-10/18 was falling on dry ground. I attached a few photos below to paint the scene.
