Quick report
-Skied from Alpental to Snow lake and back -started with light snow, with the sun breaking out around 10am -snow was generally crusty but breakable, with pole probes showing progressive compression in the upper snowpack - we saw several large slides (D2 WL, presumed natural) from earlier in the week down the Chair Peak apron and the Bryant - we were able to see evidence of a wet slab on the hanging snowfield btwn Bryant and Chair Peak - pit tests revealed a right-side-up snowpack without significant pooling of water (CT23 BRK between 3/12 and 3/8 (35 cm down); HS 175cm, 4400ft SW)
