Generally what we observed were relatively safe snow conditions in the areas we moved through. Almost all of the new snow had been affected by the wind but we did not see any reactivity that concerned us. Travel conditions fluctuated, we had melt freeze scoured slopes, firm wind board, and wind drifted deep pockets. We could break of slabs with skis or hands but could never get them to fail/propogate.
Avalanche
Observed very few natural avalanches from most recent storm cycle. Had isolated cracking and slab movement, however our observed reactivity was low. On the top of isolation peak on Monday we heard two large whumpfs while walking the relatively flat ridge line.
