Quick report

Traveled out to Yodelin in Stevens Pass and skied lines on both front and backsides of the ridge. Low snow coverage made for challenging approach and exit for the bottom 600 feet with lots of exposed alder in the old road grade. There was about 4 inches of light new snow across the zone, a little less in areas with tree cover. No issues observed with bonding of new snow to old snow. No signs of wind effect or loading, even in exposed areas of the ridge. We skied a south facing aspect that started out soft and then began sending off wet roller balls with sun exposure at around noon. Overall the skiing was better than expected with the buried crust being supportive.
