Snowpack
Superficial refreeze at best overnight, most terrain did not form a MFcr. Test profile at 5,770' S aspect, 10:30am HS~180cm 0-4cm: F wet rounds (2-3) 4-17: 1F/4F Several (4) Mfcr sandwiched with wet rounds 17-60: 1F DF/RG trending from moist at upper boundary of layer to dry by mid-layer 60-65: 1F MFcr Thin P-K IFrc at 65. 65-79: 4F Fcxr (1-2mm) 79-95 and below: P Early February Crust Polar terrain had moist rounds from surface to about 5cm down, dry settling storm snow below that.
Avalanche
Many natural wet loose on solar aspects at all elevations. Generally to size 1.5 with oulier size 2+. No wet slab observed. Polar terrain has not had true wet loose cycle yet, with many rollerballs and sluffing out of steep rocky areas noted.
