Quick report
Raining from the parking lot to about 4500ft. Transitioned to snow quickly with snow accumulation changing rapidly between 4500 and 5000ft. No red flags in hand pits or up track tests. Dug to the early Feb crust (12.30pm), performed shovel tilt and got sudden result on 11th tap at the base of the new storm snow (20cm deep). Following ECT produced ECTN 12 on same layer. Pit at 5000ft SW aspect. Storm snow was F/4F with some areas of wind effect beginning to stiffen snow in places. Skied well above 4500ft, not as bad as expected below.
