Quick report
Sun came out by 11am or so, and the snowpack almost immediately turned into a foot or more of fully saturated wet slop. Skied the slot around noon and it was still shaded and stable, but anything that saw sun was easy to trigger sluffs on. Aborted remainder of planned trip and went to snow lake and exited.
Avalanche
Wide-spread avalanche cycle observed on east-facing slopes above 4500ft. Observed one avalanche occur from a natural trigger and saw a ton of others. Some of these were large and crossed through today's ski tracks in Source Lake basin. I did not observe these source lake slides occur and don't know if they were natural or skier triggered (although surely some were natural).
