It was a warm and humid day that could've passed for late April in the Cascades. Wet loose slides became easier to trigger as the day warmed up and ran with a punch on the recent crusts. Storm snow and wind slab instabilities mostly settled out during the day, but we did get one funky collapse on a NE aspect at 5,500ft while walking over a recent debris pile. 

Rollerballs and ability to trigger small wet loose slides on steep test slopes. We observed short fractures within the newer snow layers above the strong early Feb Crust. We had a collapse while walking over a recent debris pile on a NE aspect at 5500ft, kind of funky.

We found 20-35cm over the early Feb Crust. This snow became moist during the day with greenhousing and warm temperatures. 

On a SW aspect at 5,400ft in the morning HS was 226cm. Tilt tests failed in numerous places; 15cm down, 20cm down (above recen sun crust), and 25cm down (below recent sun crust). CTE, RP down 20cm on sun crust. ECTN M on sun crust. The early Feb Crust was down 28cm.

On a NE aspect at 5,700ft mid day HS was 183cm. Tilt tests didn't fail, and CTM break down 20cm at a recent storm interface. The early Feb Crust was down 35cm.
