Sky clear, wind calm, NE aspect, elevation 6000, temp. 26 F, HS 120,17 cm fresh sitting on the rain crust, seems pretty well bonded, isolated column, new snow collapsed, the weak layer observed in other locations is now 30cm down failed on 11, solstice layer / complex failed on 22, crust in this location was slightly less durable, thin skin of ice then finger hard for 15 cm. Solar aspects were warming fast, tree bombs.
