Galena Peak west ridge. Soft snow in the trees. Strong wind affect once out of the trees up top. Wind slabs present. Some cracking, but localized around skis. No collapses throughout the tour while breaking trail. Couldn't spot any avalanche activity on south side of Senate. North side of the ridge seemed chunky in spots, like it could have slid, but can't confirm. NW bowl had lots of wind effect, but didn't find any crowns. SW bowl wide avalanche crown, as previously reported on.
